Song Of the Ascents
Songs of Steps or Pilgrim Songs
Song of Ascents is a title given to fifteen of the Psalms, from 120–134. Each of these psalms start with the superscription Shir Hama'aloth ("Song of the Ascents"). They are also called Songs of Steps or Pilgrim Songs.
Many scholars believe the title indicates that these psalms were sung by pilgrims as they ascended the Judean hills on the way to Jerusalem to attend the three Jewish pilgrim festivals namely, Passover, Weeks (Pentecost), and Tabernacles (Tents or Booths). Others think they were sung by the Levite singers as they ascended the 15 steps to minister at the Temple in Jerusalem.
In the modern Liturgy of the Hours of the Roman Catholic Church, these Psalms are used in several ways, including Vespers and Daytime Prayer.

Is Jesus Really God ?
Scripture Proof That Jesus Is God
Three divine traits that are attributed to God the Father are
God is omnipotent ( possesses all power ),
God is omniscient ( all-knowing ) and,
God is omnipresent ( present everywhere ).
These very same divine traits are applied to Jesus in
Philippians 3: 20-21, omnipotent ( possesses all power ),
Colossians 2:2-3, omniscient ( all-knowing ) and,
Ephesians 1:22-23, omnipresent ( present everywhere ).

A Psalm of Ascents
Psalm 125
A Song of Ascents.
1 Those who trust in the Lord are as Mount Zion,
which can’t be moved, but remains forever.
2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem,
so the Lord surrounds his people from this time forward and forever more.
3 For the scepter of wickedness won’t remain over the allotment of the righteous;
so that the righteous won’t use their hands to do evil.
4 Do good, Lord, to those who are good,
to those who are upright in their hearts.
5 But as for those who turn away to their crooked ways,
the Lord will lead them away with the workers of iniquity.
Peace be on Israel.
Note:
Psalm 125 is one of 15 psalms which begin with the words "A song of ascents". It is a short psalm, with only five verses. Today, the Catholic Church uses it in the Liturgy of the Hours, being recited or sung vespers on Monday of the third week.
